July 13, 2016 Lansing Chapter Luncheon Summary

Our featured guest speaker was Esther Luttrell, Author of 14 books and motivational speaker on inspiring people “to take action and achieve powerful result”.

Her message for us was to “do what you want to do” and “it is never too late to be what you want to be”. Esther’s story was so captivating regarding her personal journey. Through her real life tragedies and challenges, she proved that you still can persevere.  Esther through humor and wisdom, shared her trials and tributes of her astonishing life through her go to attitude and survival instincts. Her final message was that anyone of us can overcome our challenges and to be whom we want to be. We all have an inner strength and it is never too late to take action and achieve your powerful result.

In addition to our guest speaker, NACW Lansing Chapter awarded two $3,000 NACW Harriett E Pincumbe Scholarships to the following recipients: LaTarsha Holmes and Keri Jo Papranec. Both are attending Davenport University. We all were very proud of them.
