Topic Info: The last year came with many challenges. The Lansing Regional Chamber of Commerce and other organizations have served and continue to serve local businesses in many ways. Join us as Michelle Rahl tells us how the Lansing Chamber added value throughout the pandemic and gives us a general regional update.
This month features Michelle Rahl, vice president of member engagement at the Lansing Regional Chamber of Commerce. In this role, she oversees a motivated and engaged member services team which is responsible for the on-boarding of new members and the retention of existing members. This is completed through a variety of avenues and requires a very proactive approach to customer service and engagement. Rahl had previously served as the Director of Marketing and Events and Manager of Events and Programming.
Rahl attended Ferris State University and graduated with honors with her B.A in Business and a Certificate in Public Relations. She came to Lansing by way of an internship with Marketing Resource Group (MRG), a full-service public relations and communications firm. After a successful internship, she began a two-and-a-half-year career as an Account Executive at MRG. Rahl began at the Chamber in September of 2011.
Rahl resides in Grand Ledge, Michigan with her husband Ryan, daughter Ryleigh Elizabeth and their cat, Diva.
