When Life Throws You Curveballs, Don't Eat Them

by Vickie Griffith

When life throws you a curveball every painful moment is categorized in your mind and body to
be experienced over and over again as edginess, anxiety, and stress.
Your coping mechanism kicks in to help you deal with the stressful situation. Your state of mind is either hyper vigilance until you are worn out or paralyzed. Often, reaching for food or drinks to help us calm down or increase energy becomes the way to cope. This can stop for you and it is easier than you think. Learn to create constructive coping mechanisms that reduce stress, create clarity to make wise
decisions and handle any situation in a confident impactful way.
