TOPIC: In this inspiring and thought provoking session, we'll discuss how to bridge the gaps between men, women, generational differences, etc. when it comes to handling emotions in the workplace. This will be an interactive session where you’ll learn ways to communicate with your co-workers and employees regarding real life situations in ways that will allow them to feel valued while understanding there is still work to be done. Thus we'll be bridging the gap in understanding how to handle emotions in the workplace. Learning these skills hands on will help you understand why and how they work and how to effectively implement them into your normal processes. By the end of the discussion, you’ll be equipped to handle any discussion or training with management, co-workers, or employees that will help push them toward success.

Melissa's Bio

Melissa “Meli” Marciniak is a certified life coach with a focus on helping others through transformation. She has a background in Human Resources (HR) which offers a blend that helps her meet people where they’re at and help them get to where they want to be using compassion, understanding, leadership, and structure. She has led various coaching sessions both virtually and in person and finds the most joy in experiencing the breakthrough moments with her clients. These breakthroughs are the metaphoric light switches that help us snap out of our mundane life, step out of our comfort zone and on the path that will get us to the next step towards our goal.

Meli not only has experience with helping others through transformation periods in their life, she has also experienced her own transformations. After giving birth to her oldest daughter at the age of 19, Meli felt like her life was being taken on a new path. She dropped out of college and spent her time working and taking care of her daughter. She is now the mom of two beautiful growing women and was a single mom for a majority of her daughters’ lives. Her real life experiences have helped shape her purpose in life to help others see over the horizon and find their true path.
