Info:
During this presentation, Sarah will discuss human trafficking and smuggling; their similarities and differences, what's happening in our area and surrounding communities and how to be vigilant. The Blue Water area is a great place to live, work and raise our families but some often forget that we are a "border community" and what unique challenges come with that. It is important to be aware of what's happening around us and what could potentially be threats to ourselves, our families and our communities. It is important to be transparent about what law enforcement sees in our area. Sarah enjoys educating our community members on such topics. She also believes as a female in law enforcement, it is her responsibility to empower other women to take control of their own safety, the safety of their families and feels confident in doing so.
