The program will cover multiple topics. First, women in politics and why we need more intelligent and thoughtful women in politics. Second, what it means to be an ally. Blue Water Allies is a local nonprofit organization that's vision is to create a safe, supportive, and empowering home for our LGBTQIA+ community. There will be also be a question and answer portion.
Speaker Bio:
Barbara Payton is a Detroit rock singer/entertainer with a soulful, bluesy voice. Recognized as one of Detroit's most powerful and engaging live performers, Barbara Payton has rocked stages, festivals, arenas and private listening rooms for more than 25 years. In addition to her solo career, Barbara has toured as a background singer for both Bob Seger and Kid Rock.
