Speaker Bio
Hello, my name is Emily! I am a passionate full-time photographer with an affinity for coffee! Seriously, though, you will usually find me with a cup in hand! I live for a venti cafe americanno. And in the words of my favorite little internet sensation Mila... "It tastes like Hopes & Dreams"

Anyway, enough about the most important food group in the world (coffee......). Let me tell you a little about myself. I am a firefighter wife, dog-mama and a photographer. I'm the sole owner and CEO of Photographs by Emily, LLC, which I started in 2009. Opening my own studio space in 2020! I feel so incredibly lucky that I get to do what I love every single day! Capturing life's most important memories with my camera is my passion in life. I like to keep things simple!

I married the love of my life in 2012. We love spending time traveling and boating together on Lake Huron. We started and a 501(c)3 nonprofit supporting breast cancer patients in St. Clair Count. We host multiple events throughout the year and would love for you to join us too! Check out our website:

I started my photography journey long before starting my business over a decade ago. For as long as I can remember I've loved the art of photography, always having a camera in hand. Yes... even those cheesy disposable cameras as a teen... Remember those? In college, I decided to take some photography courses where my love turned into a passion. Photography is always evolving and I love learning all the new things with online courses & webinars. Photographer | Entrepreneur | Fire Wife | University of Michigan Alumni #GOBLUE | Dreamer
