Speaker Bio:
Kanchan has been a Strategic Business Management and Human Resources professional for the past 25 years.
She has experience working with businesses and organizations that not only have a local or United States footprint, but that spread well into India, Europe and Asia. Kanchan has led Turn Key Projects and HR Teams within various businesses such as Engineering, Auto Components, Food & Retail and Non-Profits. Wankhede holds a Master’s Degree in Human Resources and Organization Development and a Certified Success Coach and a Certified DISC profiling.
As a small business owner herself, she understands the challenges and obstacles entrepreneurs face on a daily basis. Kanchan has two business with her Husband, Kanchan’s company has helped businesses of different sizes to build a long-term strategy for sustainability, employee engagement and retention. In addition during Covid, Kanchan has also been actively working as a consultant to area Minority and Women Owned Businesses . She is also part of the Main grants committee for the Community Foundation.
As a Director of Business Services for Michigan Economic Development Corporations , Region 6 Smart Zone, from the past two years, she coaches Tech based start-ups and traditional business,to minimize their risks and increase their success, but providing Business tools, Mentors , funds, investors, and other resources in the eco-system.
