Info: Jackie is Vice President of the Community Foundation of St. Clair County. She loves to make giving back fun and specializes in connecting donor’s passions with meaningful philanthropy. Jackie’s main work consists of charitable planning, which includes advanced giving strategies and planned giving. You will also find her heavily involved in community projects throughout our county and supporting local nonprofits leaders.

As a graduate of Michigan State University, she spent the first 10 years of her career in wealth management as a Certified Trust and Financial Advisor. Jackie then received her Juris Doctor from Thomas M. Cooley Law School in 2014 and made the transition into philanthropy shortly after. Jackie has been with the Community Foundation for 10 years.

Jackie has a passion for the community and has served on numerous local nonprofit boards over the years. In her role with the Community Foundation now, she actively works with over 60 local nonprofits through their charitable funds.

Jackie was a Future Leader for the Mackinac Policy Conference, named a special child advocate by the CAN Council and a Blue Water Women Young Professional of the Year. She also received the Spirit of Port Huron civic award from the City of Port Huron.

Jackie and her husband Mark will celebrate their 20 year anniversary this summer and they have two very active daughters. She enjoys traveling with her family whenever possible and when she’s not busy with her kids on a soccer field or at other sports games, you’ll find her at CrossFit and participating in local 5k races that benefit local causes

Bio: Sarah LaForge currently serves as the Vice President of the Blue Water Area Chamber of Commerce. With a background in hospitality, community building, and event strategy, she’s passionate about using connection as a catalyst for change. Sarah also serves on multiple boards including NACW and continues to champion local women, small businesses, and innovative ideas. When she’s not leading a meeting or hyping up a local event, you can find her brainstorming big plans over coffee—always ready for what’s next.
