Speaker Bio: Kathy Hayman is a dedicated leader whose career bridges public service, business, and
building relationships with integrity and purpose. With over a decade on the Marysville
City Council and three years as Mayor, Kathy is recognized for her commitment to
community growth, fiscal responsibility, and collaborative leadership. During the
workday, Kathy is General Manager and Controller at Electrex Industrial Solutions.
Kathy’s service extends to multiple community boards, where she champions civic
engagement, economic development, and opportunities that strengthen families and
neighborhoods.
Married for 43 years, she and her husband are proud parents of three daughters and
grandparents of five. Her personal life reflects the compassion and resilience she brings
to her work. Golfing and traveling are additional ways Kathy lives out the balance she
encourages in others.
Her leadership is marked by vision, compassion, and a steadfast belief in building a
stronger community together.

Spotlight Speaker: Carolyn Crowe

Carolyn retired from a career in Marketing, Sales & Fund Development for both profit and non-profit organizations. She finished her career at Mercy Hospital Foundation (now Lake Huron Medical Foundation), raising funds for The Peoples Clinic for Better Health.

Since 1994 she has raised Leader Dogs for the Blind Puppies and has learned many training skills. After retirement, she started a new career as a Dog Obedience Instructor at Great Lakes K9 specializing in Puppy Obedience classes. She is also the co-coordinator of Blue Water Love on a Leash Therapy Dog group and she visits schools, hospitals, nursing homes, and other organizations to bring love and dog cuddles to many people.
